About Virginia Breeze Bus Lines
Virginia Breeze Bus Lines is an intercity bus service that connects Blacksburg, Virginia, with Union Station in Washington, D.C. This route, the Valley Flyer, includes several stops in the New River Valley, Shenandoah Valley, and Northern Virginia. Stay tuned for updates on our two new routes, coming in August. The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) is a state agency that reports to the Secretary of Transportation. What Is Intercity Bus Service?
Intercity bus service is available to the general public and operates with limited stops between two or more urban areas not in close proximity. DRPT’s intercity bus service operates on a regularly scheduled fixed route, and all buses are capable of carrying luggage. The schedules for intercity bus service coordinate with longer-route bus services and often provide connections to the national intercity bus network.
